For the first time since its inauguration, the AEROTIB airport bus network in Mallorca will offer a direct connection between Palma Airport and the municipality of Calvià during the winter months.
Since the AEROTIB network began operations in 2017, its airport bus routes connecting Palma with popular destinations across the island have traditionally gone on a winter break. These services typically ceased at the end of October and only resumed in spring. This seasonal gap left travellers relying on alternative, more time-consuming and often costlier, transport options during the winter months.
This year, the A11 route will break tradition by starting a winter schedule on Friday, the 20th of December, after its summer schedule ended on the 31st of October. This move ensures continuous connectivity with the airport for residents and visitors alike.
The A11 bus serves several key locations in the municipality of Calvià, including Portals Nous, Palmanova, Magaluf and Santa Ponça. In summer, the route extends to Camp de Mar, but during the winter, it will terminate at Peguera. This adjustment accommodates the lower demand typical of the off-peak season while maintaining essential connections. Please also see our Airport Bus page for further details.
The A11 route will operate with an average frequency of one hour. Key timings include:
