Palma Airport is once again grappling with significant flight delays as a result of adverse weather conditions affecting the island of Mallorca. The island is currently under an orange alert due to intense rain and strong winds, which have severely impacted air travel.
Aemet, the State Meteorological Agency has issued warnings about the extreme weather, predicting rainfall levels that could reach as high as 50 litres per square metre, with some areas potentially experiencing up to 100 litres per square metre.
