TUI schedules flights to Mallorca starting March 27th 2021

The German airline TUI Fly, part of the TUI tourist group, has scheduled flights to Majorca starting next March 27.
“In principle, depending on how sales develop, two weekly flights are planned from Germany to Son Sant Joan airport. The announcement will lead us to have to rethink the opening of hotel establishments” chain representatives said yesterday.
La Platja de Palma will be the area that will most benefit from this arrival of German tourists, hence chains that have all their hotels closed will likely reopen at least one.
Iberostar, Riu and Barceló currently have one hotel open in Platja de Palma. Hipotels, if all forecasts are confirmed, will be one of the companies that decides to reopen one of its hotels in this area. Most likely, it will not be the only hotel chain that does the same.
